1 Contact, Choosing & Collection

Once you have filled in the enquiry form we will get back to you and answer any questions you may have.

Once you are happy to proceed we will then arrange for free collection of your wedding dress from a convenient place for you (usually home or the workplace) and you will be informed of the collection time within a 1 hour time slot.

Using our fully insured courier service you may have peace of mind knowing your treasured dress is protected and in safe hands from collection through to delivery back to you.

Then all you have to do is package your wedding dress as carefully as possible and place it in a box ready for postage (see FAQs for tips on the best way to package a dress for postage).

2 Assessment

The next day your dress will arrive at our premises in Manchester. We will meticulously inspect your wedding dress from head to toe checking all stains, beadings, flowers and for any damage. Pictures (the “before” shots) will be emailed to you with our assessment and at this point we will confirm the price and the time frame for finishing.

3 Starting Process

We start the cleaning process as soon as we receive your acknowledgement of our assessment and payment (choose to pay via bank transfer and qualify for an immediate £5 discount).

Before cleaning any dress we carefully select a cleaning process which will be suitable for the delicate fabric yet effective enough to obtain the best results.

For example; if you own an Ian Stuart wedding dress, we will remove the delicate flowers taking care to leave invisible markings for them to be replaced afterwards. Jenny Packham dresses will be done by “F cleaning” hydrocarbon.

4 Expert Cleaning

Having carried out all assessments you can be sure that your wedding dress will be cleaned to the highest standard to achieve the best possible result – no matter how many times we need to repeat any process.

We really know our stuff when it comes to wedding dresses and our resident experts will be overseeing the whole process from start to finish.

5 Finishing

Once the dress has been cleaned it is then fully examined. Only once we are happy with the result will we then start our finishing process.

Different materials require different finishing processes, we pride ourselves in our fabric knowledge and would never treat a silk organza in the same way as a non-silk satin for example.

Our aim is to make your wedding gown look like the first time you wore it on your wedding day.

Flowers or others adornments which needed to be removed prior cleaning will be carefully replaced after the finishing process.

6 Preservation

Before we start our preservation process we will take final pictures (the “after” shots) of your dress and email it to you requesting a date for your dress to be delivered back to you.

Your wedding dress will be expertly packaged in Acid free tissue paper and placed in our beautiful acid free breathable preservation boxes.
